Help develop and implement compliance frameworks for cross-border payments, fiat accounts and cards.
Conduct KYC/KYB, CDD/EDD, customer risk assessments, sanctions and PEP screening, transaction monitoring, requests for information (RFI) and exception case reviews.
Assess risk based on customers, business models, jurisdictions, funds flows and transaction behaviour, and recommend appropriate action.
Support compliance communications, due diligence responses and remediation work with banks and payment institutions.
Translate regulatory and compliance requirements into internal processes, rules and system requirements.
Work with product, operations, engineering and business teams to improve compliance processes and risk controls.
Requirements
A bachelor’s degree or higher in law, international law, economic law, financial law or a related discipline.
Foundational knowledge of finance, banking, payments or AML/KYC.
Clear, structured thinking and the ability to analyse complex issues and reach a well-supported judgement.
The ability to learn new business models and rules quickly.
Strong English skills: independently read regulations, contracts, bank materials, RFIs and correspondence, and communicate in writing.
The ability to use AI and other research tools while exercising independent judgement and verifying information and conclusions.
Attention to detail, a sense of responsibility and an awareness of risk.
