Design and improve products for cross-border payments, fiat accounts, cards and related financial infrastructure.
Map customer, account, transaction, ledger, payment, clearing, settlement, risk and operational processes into clear product specifications.
Work with banks, payment institutions, card networks and other financial providers to translate their capabilities into shared product and system capabilities.
Work with compliance, operations, engineering and business teams to incorporate business rules and compliance requirements into product flows and system logic.
Contribute to APIs, operational tools, account systems, transaction systems, ledgers and related platform capabilities.
Identify common requirements across customers and providers, reduce bespoke logic, and promote standardisation, automation and reuse.
Monitor products after launch and improve them in response to exceptions, operational feedback and business changes.
Requirements
A bachelor’s degree or higher in any discipline; computer science, finance, economics, management or a related background is preferred.
Strong recent graduates, current postgraduate students and early-career candidates are welcome.
A basic understanding of, or strong interest in, payments, banking, cards, cross-border transactions or financial technology.
Strong reasoning and abstraction skills, with the ability to turn complex business requirements into clear processes, rules and system models.
The ability to understand funds flows, transaction states and the relationships between participants.
The ability to learn new financial products, business models and provider rules quickly.
Strong English skills for reading API documentation, partner materials, business correspondence and product information.
The ability to use AI and other tools to understand unfamiliar business and technical issues while independently verifying information and conclusions.
Strong communication and coordination skills, taking issues through to resolution across business, compliance, operations and engineering.
